It's Official, Rentelov is considered "Artisan"


In 2010, I owned a boutique children's clothing business called Ella Minnow Pea. I absolutely loved sewing children's clothing for clients all over the world. It had originally began when I fell in love with boutique children's clothing, but did not fall in love with the price of those children's clothing. With my background in sewing, I knew I could make them myself. Then my friends started asking me to make their children items. Before I knew it, a business had been born. Ella Minnow Pea was also approved for a elite group of artisans in the handmade community called The Artisan Group.

Who is the Artisan Group?
The Artisan Group® is a premier entertainment marketing organization on a mission to introduce Hollywood to the best of the handcrafted movement. We do it by providing owners of artisan businesses the chance to introduce their products to celebrities, industry leaders, VIPs, and members of the press through participation in celebrity gift lounges, and our exclusive TV show stylist gifting initiative.



I always knew that one day when I opened up a new business, that I would apply to be part of The Artisan Group again. Well, that day has come and Rentelov has joined in the select few artisans who are skilled enough to be part of the group. I very much look forward to sharing all that being in The Artisan Group will offer Rentelov.

2020 Coming to a Close

 It had been a long time since I wrote in my Rentelov blog. Even though I am truly grateful for the opportunity to open Rentelov as a result of a need I wanted to help fill with PPE, the dramatic impact on the entire world has shaken us to the core. Both my husband and I contracted COVID-19 in March 2020. During this time, we were very worried and scared as the virus and it's impact on individual health was very new. The world was scrambling to figure out what the best course of action was. In fact, our hospital didn't implement masks until right after I became sick. I remember calling employee health and asking that I come get swabbed for the flu. My hope was that I could just get Tamiflu, and hopefully get right back to work. I rarely get sick and hated taking off work as I mostly needed sick days for when the kids weren't feeling well so that I could stay home with them. Rentelov Goes International

Rentelov has gone quite a few places since opening up an online shop in Etsy. As of today, Mod Scrub Caps have been shipped to 15 different states in the United States! However, this afternoon Rentelov has hit a very big milestone! One of our Mod Bouffant Scrub Caps will be handmade and shipped internationally to England in the United Kingdom! It's official! We have made it over the "pond!" This is such a big moment that has been celebrated in our household today. We are beyond grateful for everyone who has supported our small business endeavors to provide coverage to healthcare workers all over Ohio, then all over the United States, and now officially all over the WORLD! Our dreams are coming true and it wouldn't be possible if it wasn't for all of you. Thank you for supporting Rentelov!

Small Space With a Big Imagination

I am part of a Facebook group online called "Sewing Room Ideas." My dream space would be a cute sewing space or rather a "she shed" for sewing in the middle of a garden with large windows and a cute little patio for drinking tea or coffee and relaxing. Much like Jane's sewing oasis in Reading, in the UK which was featured on Tilly And The Buttons The seamstresses in my "Sewing Room Ideas" Facebook group have some of the most drool worthy spaces. I applaud their proudly displayed trophy rooms. I always imagine what kind of wonderful creations are made in these spaces. There are so many creative ideas for sewing spaces, and I love to see what people come up with. So it gave me an idea. Why not show where all of the Rentelov creations are made?! My sewing space is small, but it certainly shows you that small spaces can have a very large imagination.
